Project title : Development of Partner Content for Sales Analysis
Client : U.K based firm (Confidential)
Period : December 2004– Aug 2005
The Project deals with developing business content based packaged
service (Partner Content) for Sales Analysis. Gathered BW user requirements
and mapped with SAP BW and SAP R/3 systems using GAP analysis. Created
Generic extractors to meet user requirements. Enhanced Application data
sources using user exits in SAP R/3. Designed data flow in BW system
using ODS objects and infocubes in strict compliance with SAP business
content. Documented functional and technical specifications as per ISO
standards.
Detailed description:
The Project aims at realizing a set of 49 KPI’s in Sales Analysis.
Source System enhancement and development
The package consists of enhancement of Application datasources in LO
cockpit in the R/3 side. Generic datasource was also implemented using
function module technique. The application component datasources
enhanced were as follows:
2LIS_11_VAHDR – Sales Order header
2LIS_11_VAITM - Sales Order Item
2LIS_12_VCHDR – Delivery Header
2LIS_12_VCITM – Delivery Item
2LIS_13_VDHDR – Billing Header
2LIS_13_VDITM – Billing Item
The datasource 2LIS_11_V_SSL (Sales Order Delivery) is also used but
not enhanced (No enhancement possible).
As part of enhancement of application component datasources, the
communication structures of these datasources were enhanced using append
structures. Data is populated into these fields via exits ( MC* i.e
MC100001 for SO etc) in the extractor.
The server was configured as content server so that ‘D’ version of the
Genercic datasource object is copied to the transport system.
BW System Enhancement and Development.
Two cubes and two ODS were created for the purpose. The update rules to
these structures were created using the following infosources:

2LIS_11_VAITM - Sales Order Item
2LIS_11_V_SSL – Sales Order Delivery
2LIS_12_VCHDR – Delivery Header
2LIS_12_VCITM – Delivery Item
2LIS_13_VDHDR – Billing Header
2LIS_13_VDITM – Billing Item.
The above infosources were enhanced with new infoobjects to incorporate
the corresponding changes of Datasources in the R/3 side. Queries were
created in Bex Query designer to realize the KPI’s which formalates
calculated and restricted keyfigures.
The above development was done in a Content Server so that the ‘D’
version is copied to the transport system.
Prepared Test Case data and tested the product.
Documented the entire process.
Project Profile – CCS Technologies Pvt, Ltd. Kottayam, Kerala
ABAP Consultant : Aug 2003 - Sep 2004
Project title : Upgradation and maintenance of SAP system
Client : Malayala Manoroma Company Ltd. Kottayam

Worked as a team member (on contract basis) in maintenance of SAP
system of MMCL in SAP ABAP competency. Interacted with the users to
determine the individual report requirements. Documented and verified report
requirements with the users. Used ABAP workbench tools to research the
data required to meet the report specifications. Programmed reports a
using SAP R/3 ABAP 4 and developed various module pools in MM and FI/CO
module.
Detailed Description:
Enhancements :
Created a Business add-in implementation which inserts the necessary
details of a material document in user defined tables before being
inserted into the concerning sap tables. The business add in which was
implemented was MB_DOCUMENT_BADI.
Enhanced the transaction for internal order creation for by adding user
defined fields using screen exits of sap enhancement coopa03.
Module Pool :
Developed a module pool termed as Project Management System. The
purpose of the project is to record all repositary objects creatd by an
application developer in user defined tables with necessary details.
Sapscript:
Developed sapscript forms for various document printing.
Designed and implemented algorithms to draw flowchart figures like
circle, parallelograms etc in sapscript.
BAPI :
Created a bapi for internal order creation (kb01).
BDC’s and LSMW :
Created a BDC to upload vendor master data using transaction MK01.
Created a BDC to upload HR master data using transaction PA30.
Uploaded AP-AR Master data using LSMW.
Automated bank statement reconciliation by uploading passbook data of
different banks which displays all check issued for the selected dates.
The selected particulars are uploaded using BDC with call transaction.
The transaction used was FF67.
Reports and ALV’s :
Created reports to calculate the percopy profitability of MMCL
products/profit center using statistical key figure. The report presents a
detailed picture of income and expense figures of different account
groups.
Developed a report to display the present status of an internal order
(including the PR status, PO status , GR status, IR status and asset
status if IR is obtained)
Developed a report to check the GR quantity and the PO quantity and to
indicate any difference by comparing the GR and PO documents.
Developed a report to display the stock overview of the materials.
Depending on user selection the report gives an overview of the stock
details. User interaction also allows the display of the above said
information plant wise and storage wise.
Developed a report to display the status of Purchase orders. Documents
involved are PO, GR and IR. Depending on user selection the report
gives either the summery or detailed view of the purchase order status.
Displayed various details like PO quantity and vendor details. Displayed
PO total vendor wise, plant wise on sorting.
Developed an ALV to reorder the materials which are below the reorder
level and also indicated the open PR quantity. the report displays
plant wise details like reorder level, reorder quantity and open PR
quantity of the selected material.
Project title : Implementation of PM module
in MMCL
Uploaded the equipment details of the printing units for a functional
location using transaction IE01
Uploaded the Material Master details using transaction MM01.
Created a BDC to change the material type of materials using
transaction MMAM.
Uploaded the Bill Of Materal of the equipments in a functional location
using transaction IB01
